Tony Marino was born in Sicily, Italy, is a singer who has grown artistically directly on stage, thanks to his experience in 27 years of activity, in many concerts and international experiences.
Since child, the father drummer’s conduce him to appreciate the world of music in its entirety.
Through the years he has interpreted from Soul music to Rhythm ‘n’ Blues, landing in Swing music during the last 11 years, passing through in the typical vocal style of Jazz crooners.
Since 2007 he is the leader of the italian band Jumpin’up, with whom he has held concerts in more than 9 European countries, treading the stages of some of the most important festivals dedicated to the world of dance and Swing music.
His vocal timbre, warm and deep, can be compared to some Afro-American voices typical of the golden age of American swing, in fact his stylistic references come from Louis Jordan, Nat King Cole, Sammy Davis Jr., Ray Charles, Jon Hendricks and many others
