Paolo Furio Marasso was born in 1986 in Genoa where he graduated in classical double bass at the N. Paganini Conservatory; but his passion has always been jazz music.
In Italy he has played with Rafael Gualazzi, Devil’s Advocates by Mauro Porro, GnuQuartet and collaborates in numerous shows produced by the Teatro della Tosse.

In 2015 he moved to Madrid where he immediately entered the capital’s jazz scene, participating in numerous projects including Madrid Hot Jazz Band, John O’Brian’s Swingin’, Lucas DeMulder Trio and formations in his own name. Every Tuesday since 2016 he leads the Intruso Jam Session.

He has participated in the Madrid Jazz Festival, the Lanzarote Jazz Festival, Policoro in Swing and many other festivals in Italy and in Spain collaborating with Meschiya Lake, Jessie Gordon and Luca Filastro just to name a few
